Week 3 Integrative Learning: Boosting Website Traffic

For this activity, I was to read How to Distribute Your Content and Boost Website Traffic. After reading, I chose three points that I thought would be beneficial to my online marketing strategy.

Groups, Tribes, and Pods

Linkedin Groups, Facebook Groups, Instagram Pods, these sorts of groups can help drive traffic to my website in various ways. By connecting with other business professionals, I can ask for advice on my content thus sending them the link to check it out. I can also post about possible opportunities and share my blog. All of these things not only raise awareness for me and my brand but also will open doors for collaboration opportunities and website visitors.

Repurpose Content or Link Back to Your Website

Another great way to drive traffic to my website is to take my own content and share it on other online platforms. One way I would plan to do this is by requesting to write guest blogs on various popular blog sites. I can write original content for them or share something of my own. I will then link my information at the bottom of the post so readers can learn more about what I do.

Newsletters

Finally, I will share my content via email distribution. By having a newsletter at least once a month, I can send my content straight to my audience’s email box. I can share updates, brief excerpts of my blog, a social media review, and more. This is a great direct way to not only send content directly but also build up a base of email supporters.
