Reflect: Your presentation was done very well. I truly enjoyed the way you designed the business card and advertisement. They are simple but contain all they need. There is enough white space so the viewer isn’t overwhelmed. The center alignment of the advertisement makes perfect sense and it is easy to follow. The color schemes you chose fit perfectly and the artwork with the logo truly represent who and what “Mouse Trap Mini Golf” is. As for the presentation itself, my eyes follow each element in sequence and are not overwhelmed by all the information. The text on the bottom is in a simple font that is not too small and easy to read. That is something I would probably revisit in my own presentation. I tried to choose a friendly font that reflects my client, but I feel like it may be a bit hard to read. Overall, I think your presentation was created well. You understand who your client and target audience are and are able to design elements that fit their needs.
Inquire: For your logo, I love the fonts you used and they are combined well. When other people first see it, what is the feeling you are hope they experience? Would it be friendliness, family, fun, or all three at once? How about your client? Are you hoping your client would react in the same way as a customer?
Suggest: I love the color scheme you chose for your client. The cheese theme fits perfectly with the brand. However, I found the business card a bit hard to read. The logo seems to blend in with the orange background rather than pop. Perhaps if it were the same shade of orange as the magazine advertisement, that will fix legibility issues as well as keep the scheme consistent throughout each element.
Elevate: Overall, I enjoyed reviewing your presentation. You seem to have a developed an understanding for graphic design. You should keep this presentation in your portfolio for future employers to see. From your text, it also appears that you have confidence in your own work as well. That is very important. If you have no confidence or trust in yourself, how is your client supposed to have confidence and trust in you? In the future, you should continue to have this confidence and work on building it up along with your graphic design skills and knowledge.
